Meet Meta

My passion for St. Louis Park runs deep

St. Louis Park has been my home since 2005—and my heart for just as long. As a parent of two SLP students, volunteer, and advocate, I've seen the power of what our schools can achieve when we work together.

Family & Community Focused

My husband Richard and I have been passionate advocates of our community and we love where we live!  As small business owners, we understand the importance of giving back to our community and have done so in as many ways as we can including being long time supporters of STEP and the St. Louis Park School and Community Foundation.             Strong Schools=Strong Community

St. Louis Park School District Experience

For over a decade, I've served in a variety of roles across our district—from the school-site level including:

  • ECFE Parent Advisory Committee

  • Park Spanish Immersion PTO Co-Chair

  • Park Spanish Immersion Amity Coordinator

  • District Learning & Design Team

  • 2017 Vote Yes Committee

  • District Finance Advisory Committee

  • DIPAC

Additional Board Experience
 

Each of these experiences has deepened my commitment to listening with empathy, learning from diverse perspectives, and taking thoughtful action. I can assure you that I don't have all the answers, but my promise is to remain curious, open and committed to finding solutions together.  I am a champion of St. Louis Park Schools and also recognize where we have areas of opportunity.
